Repetition
Repetition
Two major factories are considered when developing code: the time and and efficiency. Rather than rewriting long lengths of code that do the same thing, short lines of code are used to repeat useful code. This makes the program neat and short while being efficient. When a program compares or reorganizes data, it is useful to use a repeat until function. A repeat until function repeats selected code until a conditional is met. Lines of code that repeat are called loops. To insure the efficiency of code, programmers will use variables. Variables allow many types of data to use the same code because the values of the variables can change depending on the task.
